Grass-of-Parnassus
This wonderful example of Grass-of-Parnassus was captured in a rock crevice beneath Glen Falls near Highlands, NC, USA. The background was naturally ink-black simply due to the exposure, except for a few hints of surrounding foliage. Thus the image backgound has been digitally refined to present a pristine black background. [1/4 sec @ f/20]
